Beautiful flower pendant made by hand in the Hmong villages along the border of Laos and China and collected by us during our travels. This was traditionally worn as an earring but we decided to turn this big beautiful earring into a big beautiful pendant!
The center piece is a flower made with layers of thin hand wrapped wire. It hangs from a circular wire frame.
The Hmong believe that silver has the ability to influence spirits, and this type of jewelry plays a very important spiritual and cultural role in their society.
Made with silver and brass. The pendant is about 1.5 inches long.
Comes with your choice of chain or cord.
A wonderful artifact of traditional Hmong craftsmanship and artistic heritage!
